FLAP's Work

Advocacy and Community Engagement

Standing alongside low-wage workers, FLAP demands a systemic change for better working conditions and opportunities.

FLAP demands systemic change to secure safer working conditions, fair wages, and expanded economic opportunities for low-wage workers. FLAP serves as a powerful advocate alongside workers and their households across high-risk industries -including food supply chain, greenhouses, landscaping, nurseries, and snow removal.

Through strategic advocacy, and public awareness, FLAP mobilizes low-wage immigrant communities to know their rights, raise their voices, and challenge structural injustices in the workplace and beyond.

Another way FLAP advocates on behalf of low-wage communities is to ensure that they are connected to information and resources available to them.
